One of our younger library friends brought in milkweed pods to share with other patrons in the hopes of growing more milkweed plants in the area to help the monarch population. Monarch caterpillars feed only on the leaves of milkweed. Without it, they cannot compete their life cycle. By planting milkweed we can help and make a difference! Thank you Jenna!
