Granny Squares: Crocheting for our Summer Quilt
June 30 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Let’s create something special together to commemorate this year’s Summer Reading Program! Granny squares were a popular crochet trend in the 1970s, and now we’re bringing them back to the library. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced crocheter, join us at 10:00 a.m. to make granny squares together. We have yarn available for you to use, but please bring an H crochet hook if you have one. As we work together throughout the year, we’ll turn our squares into a community quilt. Then, at Christmastime, we’ll raffle off the finished quilt to one lucky winner! Come stitch, chat, and help create a one-of-a-kind keepsake for our library community.
