This year’s summer reading theme, Unearthing a Story from the 1970s, ties in with the Village event celebrating the opening of the 1976 Time Capsule in Davis Park on July 25th!
The library is taking a trip back in time, inviting community members to reminisce and share with younger generations what life was like when the time capsule was buried 50 years ago.
Stop into the library anytime to sign up for our Summer Reading Program and earn rewards for reading! Throughout the summer, enjoy weekly trivia, guessing jars, and StoryWalks, along with crafts, activities, and plenty of fun inspired by the 1970s.
