Happy National Library Week

📚 Happy National Library Week from Falconer Public Library! 📚

This week, we’ve been celebrating our amazing library staff and the wonderful patrons who make everything we do possible. Today, we’re sharing that joy—and encouraging you to take action to support your local library. Libraries truly depend on their communities to thrive!

Here are a few simple ways you can help:

1) Use your library!
Visit us in person—attend events, check out materials, or use our computers. You can also explore our digital resources like Libby, Kanopy, and Comics Plus. Every visit and every use helps us show our value when applying for funding and grants.

2) Donate if you’re able.
Your contributions go directly back into your local library—supporting programs, expanding collections, and enhancing services for your community.

3) Volunteer your time or talents.
Libraries often operate with small teams, and extra help makes a big difference. Have a skill or hobby you’d love to share? Consider leading a program or event!

4) Stay informed and get involved.
Support library funding at the local, state, and federal levels. Public funding is essential—without it, libraries would have to rely solely on grants and donations, which simply aren’t enough.

Thank you for being part of our library community. Together, we keep our library strong! đź’™
